Peach~Mango~Green Smoothie

I love smoothies.  I incorporate them into my daily life and also for my clients.  I have experimented with various protein powders and ingredients, and have my favorites (another post).  Peaches are in abundance right now so I thought I’d use what I picked up from the weekly CSA that I subscribe too.   I made this one this morning for breakfast and it was delicious!

IMG_3193My ingredients are:

  • 1 Peach
  • 1 Mango (frozen or fresh)
  • 1 handful of spinach
  • 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk.  You can use (rice, soy, or non-fat)
  • 1/2 banana (frozen or fresh)
  • 2 basil leaves (optional)
  • 1/2 c of ice


Note – If you use frozen, then omit the ice.


Blend on low – setting to 5-7, then blend on high for 20-30 seconds.


You can see how the Vitamix really blends the greens.  I had a regularly standard blender and upgraded it.  It is worth every penny and I highly recommend it.















Here is the result.  I love how the sun is shining on the smoothie, showing off all the wholesome goodness.   Enjoy! It does the body good.
