Nourish You

Morning.  Woke up this morning reflecting on 2013 and looking ahead to 2014. And, overall, I am pleased with 2013.  I had personal growth,  started my coaching business, went back to school in pursuit of my dreams, and have much gratitude for  family, friends and loved ones this year.  As I was looking  through Facebook, came across a great post for 12 steps to self-care.  As I read through them, I thought it was great tips for living a healthy / happy life, so I shared it and will do here.

So here they are:

12 Steps to Health and Happiness in 2014, and self-care (adopted from Live – Love – Fruit).

  1. If it feels wrong, don’t do it.
  2. Say “exactly” what you mean.
  3. Don’t be a people pleaser.
  4. Trust your instincts.
  5. Never speak bad about yourself.
  6. Never give up on your dreams.
  7. Don’t be afraid to say “No.”
  8. Don’t be afraid to say “Yes.”
  9. Be kind to yourself.
  10. Let go of what you can’t control.
  11. Stay away from drama & negativity.
  12. Love.

So in keeping with this theme this morning, I opted for a special juice, Nourish You, and a fun glass.

Here’s the ingredient list:

  • 1 beet
  • 3 carrots or 8-10 baby carrots
  • 1/2  apple
  • 1/4 piece of ginger (optional).  I ran out of fresh ginger so used minced ginger.
