The holidays are a time to count your blessings, spend quality time with loves ones, and toast to the health and happiness in your life.

This blog is dedicated to exactly that – because I want to express how grateful I am for each one of you. Over the past year, I’ve been on my own personal journey of happiness, self-growth and self-love. Throughout this continuous journey, I’ve really been able to open myself up to the possibilities that the universe has not only presented me, but the possibilities that I worked hard to envision and make happen. Honestly, there is no way I could have done it alone and without you, my readers, supporters and believers. I have so much love and respect for you, I am grateful for you and I am here to serve you through my passion for people to know that when they feel like they’ve tried everything and are stuck, that there’s still always a way out.

It’s the day before Thanksgiving and some of you may already have your plan of action set for what to cook for your family and friends. For others, you may be scrambling to put together a side dish or dessert last minute (we all have a bit of procrastinator in us!). Well, I am one of the others which is why some fellow health coaches and myself decided to put together healthy holiday recipes that include side dishes, dessert and more! Now, I know that having healthy options for Thanksgiving are great, but indulgences are going to happen. We will indulgeSo, does this make you scared of the biggest holiday eating season? Perhaps losing control at the dessert table or having one too many scoops of mashed potatoes + gravy. Ahh I know just thinking about it is overwhelming – turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, pie, candy, desserts, cookies, milk, ham, pot roast and more, more, more! The indulgences don’t stop. While these foods are all yummy and probably made with love, they can do serious damage to your body and not just with your waistline but your toxicity levels.

I know this all very well because I’ve struggled many years with holiday weight gain and resolving to eat less, work out more and not have that extra slice of pie. So I have created THE solution to combating both the dreaded weight gain and reducing the toxic load:
